About the opportunity:

We are seeking a specialist in HR & People Systems, to join our team. The People Systems Specialist will work alongside the  People Systems Analyst to support our People Systems (namely iTrent and Business Objects) development, configuration, processes and project life-cycles. 

You will also assist the People Team to develop and manage agreed HR Systems processes and procedures and deliver guidance, training and support to end users. 


You will gain exposure to a number of HR systems through integration projects. Working closely with MHR (iTrent) to develop the offering, collaborating with other parts of the business in various project teams.



What you will be doing

  • System development: Manage our HR Systems as the systems administrator namely iTrent and business objects and support development and configuration of the system, driving improved processes.
  • Project Support: Support HR Projects including those related to HR Systems including Payroll.  Support implementation of new iTrent modules and other HR Systems integrations.
  • Report Writing: Using Business Objects at intermediate level alongside the Systems Analyst in the creation, scheduling and maintenance of reports including HR Analytics.
  • Manage Security: Understand iTrent security features and support the team in developing and maintaining current security practices.
  • System Support: Support, troubleshoot and resolve day to day system issues. Liaise with service providers where required and deliver solutions within agreed SLA’s. Maintain and support Workflows, Batch Processes and system configuration including but not limited to user security, function accesses, access rights.
  • Module Support: System Administration of various modules in iTrent and other HR Systems included but not limited to Expenses, Performance Management and Case Management modules in iTrent.  

 We believe to be successful within this role, you will need to have:

  • Minimum two years System Administration experience in iTrent and Business Objects
  • HR project experience with knowledge of best practice project lifecycle
  • Operational knowledge of other HR and Payroll systems (Desirable)
  • General experience working within a HR capacity (Desirable)
