Salary: £29,000 - £40,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

Region Covered: Kent/Surrey/Sussex

We have been selected to deliver the National Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP). This behaviour change programme is delivered by our specialist teams and focuses on encouraging Service Users to eat more healthily and become more physically active.

We are currently searching for someone from an operational management capacity to join ICS Health & Wellbeing as a Regional Manager. This opportunity will suit someone from a health background with strong people management skills. 


Operations Management: 

· Provide effective delivery of the NDPP, covering several geographical areas. 

· Mobilise the Service across your regions to include recruitment of new staff, coordination with Regional teams to help facilitate training programmes and provide on-going support to set up all aspects of the service.

· Work closely with steering groups to ensure contract mobilisation and performance is of a high standard to meet specific KPI’s.

· Meet regularly with the Local commissioners to establish local requirements, key stakeholder, reporting mechanisms and to discuss progress reviews for your regions.  

· Review the level of uptake to the programme and assess future demand patterns.

· Work closely with the Operations team to review the performance and quality of the programme.

. Ensure all aspects of service delivery comply with Clinical Governance and Health & Safety requirements. Including, working with the local team to ensure quality assurance is met through ongoing onboarding, training, competency reviews and management and investigation into any service issues.

Team Management:

· Management of the local delivery teams including Service Coordinators, Health & Wellbeing Coaches, Advisors and Regional Trainers.

. Oversee the implementation of personal development plans for individuals to ensure training and support is provided on a regular basis.

. Conduct performance management reviews with the Service Coordinator and delivery teams with regular feedback to ensure continual development.

· Support interviewing and recruitment processes of any new team members you take on board. 


· Produce reports and updates with stakeholders including Monthly/Bi-monthly reports/Service User engagement reports/Service presentations to CCG’s.

· Regular monitoring of the performance data surrounding the programme for your regions and sharing this data with relevant stakeholders.

· Work collaboratively on monitoring contract KPI’s and share this data with your stakeholders to ensure that these are met.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Previous experience within an Operational Management role – this is essential.

· Experience in planning and implementing action steps within a Service delivery capacity.

· Partnership Experience with both internal and external stakeholders across the Public Sector.

· Access to your own vehicle as you will be expected to travel in across the area – this is essential.

· A Background in Lifestyle intervention programmes, Health initiatives or Public Health Engagement.
