We are looking for a talented Operations Manager to drive innovation to promote increased growth and decreased attrition of our staff databases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for our Regulation, Training & Compliance and Complaints & Incidents teams. You will manage, support and lead the existing Team Leaders, setting clear expectations and means to achieve them. Accountable for productivity, quality and output of both teams
  • Work with the Head of Department to ensure that the database compliance and management meets business demand
  • Work cohesively with each department of our business to establish meaningful and professional relationships that promote innovation
  • To identify, propose and implement improvements to business processes in relation to the database, compliance, training and complaints and customer service
  • Establish new and improve existing internal procedures that surround DBS, Disclosure Scotland, Access NI, Garda, NMC, NMBI, occupational health, training and immigration

Thornbury specialises in recruiting and supplying exceptional nurses, midwives and healthcare support workers for temporary work placements across England and Wales in the acute and community sector. We supply workers at very short notice, no matter when or where and are responsive to clients’ needs 24hrs a day, 365 days a year.

Our Regulation, Training and Compliance team ensure that our existing database of workers remain compliant at all times. Working with our bespoke database, Staff Manager, the team constantly monitor the status of all workers, and when individuals are flagged as non-compliant take the necessary action to resolve. This may involve, checks to ensure that documentation and certifications are valid, making bookings for any relevant training courses and processing any queries that may arise from other departments from within our business.

The team work five 8 hour shifts per week, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. This is a senior role and to be successful you will need to be flexible enough to work across these hours in order to appropriately support the team.

Our office is located just 3 miles outside the city centre with great access to public transport.
