We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Business partner to join our growing finance team based at our London offices.

Reporting into the COO and Financial Director, you will act as a commercial business partner to our Managed Workforce division, which provides outsourced staffing solutions to NHS Trusts and private sector healthcare businesses and workforce consulting services.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Exposure to clients, actively partaking in client contract negotiations and acting as a commercial sounding board for contracts, bids and tender’s negotiation.
  • Management of working capital performance to minimise cash absorption of the business.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and building and maintaining financial models.
  • Work with the COO to evaluate strategic options for the division. There is a strong theme of supporting the COO in implementing improved use of technology to improve candidate and client experience and efficiency.
  • Critically evaluate the financial performance of the business and proactively bring to management’s attention areas of financial or operational inefficiency and recommendations for improvements.
  • Establish a good working relationship between the front and back office functions, and between divisional operations and central functions, particularly around the management and development of IT systems.
  • Business partner and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, some of whom may not be finance literate.
  • Improve the efficiency and strength of all financial processes to minimise back office costs and to accommodate the peaks and troughs of the business cycle.

  About You

  • Self-motivated and driven, ability to work without supervision                       
  • Strong decision maker and able to prioritise work-streams                 
  • Professional and strong customer ethos 
  • Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to build good working relationships both internally and externally                                            

 

Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA)
  • Previous experience of working within a similar role
  • Previous experience of working within the recruitment sector – ideally a managed services/RPO function
  • Ability to prepare management information
  • Experienced in making commercial decisions
