Bank Partners provide high quality independent staffing, bank management and outsourced staffing services to some of the largest trusts in the NHS. We have a strong reputation for reducing overall agency spend whilst providing high quality staff and are proud to say that we’ve helped NHS trusts reduce their agency spend by £70 million over a six year period.

This position will be based onsite at Whittington Hospital. The successful candidate will work solely on providing the highest levels of service to our NHS Trust. You will have the benefits of being able to work in a very focused way within in a close-knit and lively team.

  • Maximise staff bookings by accurate data entry of availability and bookings, updating associate availability to ensure an accurate standby list each day
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry of Bank and Agency shifts
  • Manage the online bookings to ensure they are a true reflection of the current filled and unfilled shifts
  • Analysis of weekly and monthly reports to identify bank staffing shortages for recruitment team
  • Liaise with recruitment team to ensure new starters are contacted and placed into work
  • Database management – ensuring all staff who have not worked are contacted and their file updated accordingly

Candidate / Client Management

  • Liaise as appropriate with Trust staff in a calm, courteous and professional manner.
  • Taking full and correct details of all outstanding shifts from clients.
  • Identifying and placing the correct associate for outstanding shifts.
  • Ensuring responses are maintained in an appropriate time period to fill bookings as quickly as possible.
  • Develops effective relationships with key stakeholders within the business
  • Work with the Senior Bookings Coordinator and Contract Manager to increase bank fill rates
  • Responsible for ensuring a professional service is provided to all candidates and Trust staff
  • Responsibility for answering incoming calls efficiently, presenting a professional and business-like manner at all time

About you:

  • Able to build relationships with candidates and clients
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to multitask effectively and not be afraid of change
  • Determined and self-motivated applicants are a must


  • Experience in a target driven or customer service environment
  • Exposure to the NHS or wider healthcare sector, is a desirable but by no means essential quality
  • Be efficient in MS Office

£19,500 - £22,000 per annum based on experience
