We are a part of the ICS Group which employs just shy of 2,000 people world-wide and is responsible for the placement of healthcare professionals to both the public and private sector, as well as providing healthcare services ourselves.
We are seeking an Team Leader to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis (37.5 hours/week), based on Site at Kings Hospital, Denmark Hill to support the hospital's recruitment process.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the bookings team
- Responsible for maintaining and managing the 7-day/week bookings rota
- Responsible for ensuring that the booking team are booking candidates into appropriate shifts for their given skills
- To ensure good relations are upheld with Bank Partners and MEHT client.
- To maximize all Gross Margin generating activity within the bookings team.
Key Tasks:
- Reviewing bookings processes and systems to ensure on-going, maximum potential of team and maximum fill rates.
- On-going review of all bookings paperwork to reflect changes to bookings procedures
- Ensuring team implementation and adherence to new procedures agreed with OM.
- Working with payroll to ensure that timesheet queries are resolved in a swift time period
- Ensuring all documented communication with NHS SLA clients (Excluding Managed contracts) is closely monitored
- Overseeing the monitoring of monthly fill rates for all NHS SLA clients
- Ensuring fortnightly bookings team meetings are arranged and take place
- Ensuring fortnightly individual staff review meetings are arranged and take place
- Ensuring all documented communication with NHS SLA clients (Excluding Managed contracts) is closely monitored
- Providing client updates to bookings team with OM.
- Answering incoming calls in a polite and professional manner
- Ensuring responses are maintained in an appropriate time period to fill bookings as quickly as possible
- Ensuring messages and complaints are forwarded to the appropriate PULSE staff, both in and out of office hours
- Developing and maintaining good communication links and working relationships with nurses, carers and clients
- Coordination of Annual Leave for the bookings team, in consultation with other Team leaders to ensure service provision is maintained appropriately
About you:
- Able to build relationships with candidates and clients
- Excellent communication skills
- Determined and self-motivated applicants are a must
- Experience in a target driven or customer service environment
- Exposure to the NHS or wider healthcare sector, is a desirable but by no means essential quality
