We have a fantastic opportunity for a Talent Development Consultant to join our staffing division. We're looking for someone who's self-motivated and enthusiastic, someone who can weave business strategy into their approach, and someone who's able to influence others in order to promote continuous improvement in the business.
The aim of the role is to improve group and individual capability by developing skills and knowledge. Passionate about helping people learn, the post holder will identify Talent Development needs within specific business areas, recommending and executing solutions and training. Focus areas include structured on-boarding of new starters, sales development and management & leadership. The post holder will focus on business need, ensuring that any Talent Development intervention ultimately influences the bottom line.
Key Tasks:
- Actively promotes the Talent Development function to the business and is an advocate for continuous learning
- Working alongside the HR Business Partner to deliver business objectives
- Building relationships with senior management and employees to gain buy-in and support of initiatives
- To influence, challenge and support managers to take ownership for development of their teams
- Work with the business to identify skill gaps and lead on future learning requirements
- Utilise latest learning and development methods and technologies, using a blended learning approach
- Delivery of set courses and training to new hires, existing staff and management that builds their skills, capability and confidence
- Delivery to large groups or one to one, from presentation to facilitative format
- Responsible and accountable for learning outcomes to a defined goal
- Analyse outputs, such as retention of talent, and evaluate success of learning interventions to demonstrate Return on Investment
- Production of effective feedback reports following training delivery
Experience:
- Knowledge of effective learning and development methods
- Ability to deliver workshops and training to small / large audiences
- Experience in a sales environment
