Job Title: Marketing and Bids Executive

Location: Manchester

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000

 

Are you wanting to work within one of the UK’s leading health and social work service Providers? Are you a people’s person seeking an opportunity to build new relationships?  An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative content writer with an insight into the Public Sector, to join our growing Relationship Management Team.  

You will be creative and an analytical thinker, able to translate our clients’ needs from a wide range of market intelligence data and promote our services through excellent written work.

You will be able to write professional content creatively, ensuring that the description of our services and brand image is portrayed consistently and managed across all channels in line with our company’s vision.

You will support a wide range of sales proposals, presentations and marketing collateral, working flexibly within a fast-paced environment to support the Relationship Management team, Directorate and Heads of Service in producing written content, including maintaining the Bids pipeline and completing general marketing tasks.

Key tasks include:

  • Oversee the bids pipeline and support Business Development to write proposal content
  • Gather market intelligence and support the division in growing its client knowledge base
  • Write professional tender proposals and presentations, contribute to the company’s reference material and keep key company track record materials (case studies and testimonials) up-to-date
  • Oversee and manage our attendance at national sales conferences, including identifying new routes to market and ensuring our brand is always portrayed in a professional manner
  • Manage and contribute to marketing campaigns across a range of mediums, producing general marketing collateral through to bespoke, client-focused articles.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Good level of basic education
  • Numerate & literate – able to use MS Excel, experience with databases desirable but not essential
  • Ability to analyse large amounts of written and numerical content/data and recognise solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Creativity and writing skills
  • Insight and understanding of the Public Sector preferred
  • Use of graphic design applications such as Photoshop/InDesign or equivalent desirable but not essential
  • Experience in a B2B environment working with the public sector or prior marketing role focused on attracting senior level clients to the business (Directors, Senior Managers) desirable
