Full Time – Permanent Contract

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a System Support Assistant to join our Group Applications Team based at our Turnford, Hertfordshire offices.

Reporting into the Senior Product Manager the System Support Assistant will be supporting, administering, testing and implementing new and existing software systems used throughout the ICS group of companies.

We are looking for individuals who come from a strong customer service background, with good communication skills and a strong ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide first and second line support for business applications on a day-to-day basis, via phone and email, from both internal and external users.
  • Administer applications, involving creating additional users, changes to access rights and minor modifications to systems.
  • Log details of all calls and emails in the Helpdesk software and communicate with users in a professional and timely manner.
  • Identify issues and their severity, to escalate to the relevant parties with as much analysis as possible.
  • Identifying and collating application improvements.
  • Testing modifications prior to release.
  • Create and maintain business application user guides.
  • Communication to internal and external users of new system functionality.


About You

  • Previous experience working within a customer service role is essential
  • You will possess excellent communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of IT systems with the ability to learn systems quickly
