Senior Contract Manager

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Contract Manager to join us on a full time basis, working with one of the leading providers of specialised medical care in the world.

This exciting opportunity is to manage the full-service delivery for a new client, to open a brand new private hospital in London This role is based both on the client site in central London and at our headquarters in Grays Inn Road, London. The Senior Contract Manager plays a critical role in the delivery of a fully outsourced RPO solution. The individual will be responsible for design and delivery of strategy, key stakeholder management and daily operation of the solution, through careful planning/management of account delivery team. Providing account management and responsibility of full reporting suite.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Client relationship management

- Internal stakeholder management

- Compliance

- Agency management

- Team management

- Planning, KPI delivery and reporting


Team management

- Effective line management, performance management, development and leadership of team members.

- Conduct and record regular team one to one reviews.

- Hold regular team meetings.

- Target setting and review, and annual appraisals

Client management and information

- Ongoing review of management information and all other data and information to drive performance against targets

- Client relationship management of corporate and senior clinical contacts

- Escalation point for complaints or concerns

- Focus on specialist / hard to fill areas and ongoing delivery of agreed actions.

- Regular meetings and updating of HR and key stakeholders.

- Regular meetings and updating of key service users (eg: Operational/Clinical Directors)

- To ensure generation of, circulation of and scrutiny of performance reporting.


Recruitment & Compliance – all staff groups

- Support the recruitment process in line with agreed processes and compliance and in conjunction with Trust needs and supply chain agreements.

- Take active role in supporting fulfilment of challenging roles – providing guidance to the team ensuring that the required attention is allocated to each vacancy

- To provide clear communications to the client around activity on challenging roles – to demonstrate activity and proactive approach


Bookings & Agency management – all staff groups

- Support the supply chain with reporting and forecasts to allow focus and initiatives to address shortfalls, with minimal time to hire and full compliance

- Provide clarity in reporting to support the activity of the supply chain.  Allowing for effective focus on key roles.

- Support regular calls to facilitate clear communication and a partnership approach.

- Continually review the success of the supply chain and look to refine as appropriate.

To be considered you must:

  • Possess strong IT skills, being proficient at using outlook, excel, word and systems.
  • Be able to form key relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Be proactive and driven
  • Be able to work individually and as part of a team, be extremely organised and flexible whilst being proactive in your role.
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work to KPI's and targets
