Commercial Analyst

Job Title: Commercial Analyst 

Department: Finance 

Salary: £25k - 35k per annum dependant on experience + bonus + company benefits 

Location: Turnford, Hertfordshire  

Full Time – Permanent Contract

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a an ambitious individual to join our Finance Team as Commercial Analyst. This position plays a key role in supporting the growth and development of our business in all aspects of Financial Planning and analysis.

This is a forward facing role where you will have lots of interaction with senior internal stakeholders with the business, providing them with a real insight. You will be part of a fast paced and hardworking team who are recognised for their high quality standard of work.

This role offers study support (i.e. CIMA Qualification) so is a great opportunity for an individual looking to grow their career in this area of work.

Responsibilities Include:

  •  Reporting on areas such as group league tables, investment tracking, corporate accounts, headcounts and assisting with the preparation of the board pack
  • Analysis & Planning - Analytical reviews of gross margin and P&L's, investigation of anomalies, benchmarking & competitor analysis, assisting with annual group budget process, forecasting and ad hoc analysis.
  • Board - Reporting and analysis platform - assisting users with day to day queries, end user training, developing reports, data valuation and continuity checks, alongside liaison with users to determine areas of added value.

  • Previous experience in manipulating large volumes of data
  • Experience of solving queries and meeting deadlines
  • A background in accountancy is desirable although essential - graduates will be considered for this role
