PMO/Junior Project Manager

JOB TITLE: PMO/Junior Project Manager



Pulse Healthcare Limited is a leading UK and international provider of health and social care staffing; we are unique in our commitment to delivering the highest quality service through placing the best people.

Due to continued success within the organisation we are looking for a PMO/Junior Project Manager to be part of our internal IT team to manage, plan, document and track the progress of assigned smaller projects from conception to completion. The PMO/Junior Project Manager will be based in our London office.’

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • This role will also require the individual to help manage the Project office and ensure all in-flight projects adhere to the ICS Group project process. This will require the preparation of multiple management reports across the group and strong business engagement to prepare new project initiatives into the book of work.


  • Working closely with the multiple business divisions, internal IT specialists and external partners to deliver assigned projects on time and on budget.


  • Play a key-role in the IT development and Implementation projects (for example CRM, BI, Digital and Mobile Apps), manage transition from projects (new developments) to the support phase (train, run and maintain)


  • Share best practice within the Project management team to ensure that successful solutions and processes are rolled out to the widest possible user base.


  • To assist with the management, co-ordination and delivery of infrastructure/software/compliance projects by adhering to internal processes and best practice methodologies.
  • To be the first point of engagement within ICS Group to formally define new project requests and assist with the creation of the kick-off documentation.
  • To manage the PMO to ensure the project managers are adhering to the defined ICS Group project delivery processes and standards.
  • To lead PMO discovery and exploration according to market trends/standards.
  • To optimise processes according to best practice methodologies.
  • Prepare a monthly reporting pack across all projects.
  • Liaising with Developers, Engineers, Testers, Business Analysts and Business Stakeholders.
  • Ownership, management and audit of project documentation.







  • Strong PMO experience with previous responsibility of programme office reporting and ensuring project processes are adhered to.
  • The ideal candidate must be educated to degree level.
  • Minimum 1-year experience working as a junior project manager.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • A highly motivated and enthusiastic team member.
  • Well organised, and familiar with the full project lifecycle including requirement gathering.
  • Product and Supplier management.
  • Some knowledge of Project Management methodologies, such as Agile – Prince 2 accreditation essential.
  • Experience in the Recruitment/Staffing sector within a similar role is essential.
  • Good communication skills are essential. The successful applicant will be working with our internal users, candidates, clients and suppliers to continue to develop delivery in new and existing applications.
  • UK travel is involved.
