Customer Service Coordinator - Nursing

Pulse Nursing is expanding their on-call team in our Turnford, Hertfordshire office, and we are looking for a candidate who is looking for a long term flexible shift position. This is an opportunity to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays for one of the key marketing leaders in healthcare staffing.

You will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls promptly in a polite and professional manner 
  • Recording full details of all shifts and vacancies that the client has outstanding when a client calls. 
  • Recording all contact details with candidates in the system. 
  • Ensuring clients are kept up to date regarding the progress of their requests. 
  • Pro-actively approach the clients to identify new vacancies.
  • Identifying the correct candidate for client shifts / vacancy 
  • Liaising between candidates and the clients to ensure that we fill outstanding shifts and vacancies given to us by clients.

The shift pattern has alternative weeks, and the options are as follows:

  • Week 1: Mon & Thurs 17.30-22.30 & Sun 14.00-22.30 (18 hours)
  • Week 2: Mon & Fri 17.30-22.30 & Sat & Sun 14.00-22.30 (26 hours)


  • Week 1: Weds 17.30-22.30 & Sat & Sun 6-14.30 (21 hours)
  • Week 2: Weds & Thurs 17.30-22.30 & Sat & Sun 14.00-22.30 (26 hours)


  • Week 1: Weds & Thurs 17.30-22.30 & Sun 14.00-22.30 (18 hours)
  • Week 2: Weds & Fri 17.30-22.30 & Sun 14.00-22.30 (18 hours)


  • Week 1: Sat & Sun 6-14.30 (16 hours)
  • Week 2: Sat & Sun 6-14.30 (16 hours)

In exchange for your hard work we can offer you a competitive salary, annual bonus, excellent benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension scheme where we match your contribution up to 5%.
